Just before the ResCen was closed and I was transfered to the New Bedford reserve center which I left in 1981 to go to the USS Capodanno (FF-1093) homeported at Newport, RI.
Just as an aside this was one of those one minute camera photos. One of these days I’ll get around to cleaning it up, really, I will.
