Hi All,
Here is the second part of the day trip we made to Boston on the 15th. This is what started the trip in the first place. My son Dale bought the tickets for the Duck Tour as a present and it was way different. Thanks Son!
Took the train from Wickford Station (7:45am) to South Station and rode the “T” to the Science Museum. Subway, that was interesting. We had reservations for the 12:00 tour but caught and earlier Duck. We were behind the driver/tour guide so it was kinda uncomfortable, I felt my knees were in my chest and Meredith was only half on her seat but the ride through town was still interesting as was the ride on the Charles River. You’ll see a pretty good size skateboard park the kids were having fun in. Sail boats, other ducks, a hotel that started off being a jail now called the Liberty Hotel. Big buildings and little buildings. An interesting tour and the vehicles are unique. World War II amphibious assault craft, with 6 wheels and one screw/propeller for use in the water. Look them up online at wiki, very much a learning experience.
We ended up getting back about 7pm so it was a full day and by the time we returned I was so beat even my shoes were tired.
Hope you enjoy my pics and thanks for visiting,
Bill
